Everything you need to know before, during, and after your shoot.
Booking & Delivery
How do I book a shoot?
Send your listing details — address, square footage, property type, requested services, and preferred dates — through the contact form. We'll confirm a time that works. Online self-service booking is on the way.
How long does a shoot take?
Most shoots run 1–2 hours on site, depending on property size and the services requested.
When will I receive my photos?
Next-day delivery is the target for standard shoots. Rush delivery may be available for an added fee — ask when you book.
Getting the Property Ready
How can I make the property look its best?
Remove clutter and leave only decorative items visible.
Living spaces — put away toys, personal photos, and remotes; hide cords; fluff cushions; swap any burnt-out or mismatched bulbs.
Kitchen — clear countertops, empty the sink of sponges and supplies, hide the trash can and pet bowls, clear the fridge of magnets and photos.
Bedrooms — make the bed, remove personal photos, clear nightstands down to lamps and decor.
Bathrooms — toilet lids down, countertops clear, remove personal products from showers and tubs, set out clean towels.
What should be ready right before we arrive?
Lights on, blinds and shades open
Ceiling fans off
Cars moved out of the driveway and away from the front of the home
Will you help move or clean things during the shoot?
We're happy to do light tidying and staging touches to help a shot look its best, but Fresh Lens isn't a cleaning service. Please have the property shoot-ready before we arrive.
Weather & Scheduling
What happens if the weather is bad on shoot day?
We'll talk through the best option together — that might mean shooting interiors while it's rough outside and coming back for exteriors, using sky replacement for overcast conditions, or rescheduling. If your listing needs to go live right away, we can usually still shoot rain or shine.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens — just give us as much notice as you can. Cancellations or reschedules made without reasonable notice may be subject to a fee; exact terms are outlined in your client service agreement.
